Since our country’s accession to the European Union in 2004, the United Kingdom has remained the most popular emigration destination, where over 780,000 Polish citizens currently live and work. After opening the borders, there are also a lot of us from our nearest Western neighbors – Germany has chosen another 700,000 people to live and earn. Poles also willingly go to the Netherlands, Ireland and Italy (currently about 100,000 in each of these countries) and Norway, France and Belgium (between 60 and 80,000 citizens in each of these countries). Polish can also be heard in Sweden, Spain and Portugal. What’s more, last year’s research showed that another nearly 3 million Poles are thinking of going abroad.

Many Poles who decide to work outside our country leave their families here, sending money earned in England or Germany to their loved ones. In practice, this means that tens of thousands of families live on the Vistula River, for which the main or partial source of income is income earned abroad. Constant, high earnings obtained outside of Poland do not guarantee the possibility of applying for a loan in Poland on their basis. First, employment must last for at least six months and the contract (contract) should be concluded for at least six months in advance.

Secondly, in order to document employment, you will need extracts confirming the impact of salary for the last 6 months. A foreign employer must transfer remuneration to a currency account at a bank operating in Poland. In order to document the employment period, an employment contract / contract or a salary certificate issued in the Polish-English version should be presented.

Thirdly, you don’t have to worry about your credit history at BIK . If you have not taken any credit in your life that has earned you points and built a positive story – it does not matter to us, because if you want to take a loan addressed to people working abroad , we do not take into account the lack of scoring in the Credit Information Bureau .

Fourthly, if you have “payday loans” on your account, you also don’t have to worry about them, because having them does not reduce your creditworthiness for us.

Loan for people with income abroad – up to PLN 160,000 and a repayment period of 96 months, i.e. eight years .

The employment contract or income statement written in a language other than Polish or English must be translated by a sworn translator.

Importantly, we do not require a change in foreign BIK, only Polish BIK containing a credit relationship with banks operating in Poland is checked.
